PharmSouth History

Team members of PharmSouth have a 40+ year extensive history of Electro/Mechanical machinery design and process development in the Pharmaceutical, Medical device, and the Surgical Suture industry.
We have both project-managed, and designed and manufactured process machinery for many of the major medical/pharma companies around the world such as:- Johnson and Johnson, B. Braun, Peters Surgical, Corza, Demetech, Glaxo Smith Kline, Wyeth, A.H.P, Tyco, GEA, US Surgical, Covidien, Cyanamid, Davis & Geck, etc.
Our company founder was the automation manager for Davis & Geck until manufacturing was closed in the UK and in Connecticut USA, and then sold to Medtronics. They then transferred production, initially to Puerto Rico. then next to Dominican Republic and latterly Brazil. PharmSouth has since equipped these latter three companies with hundreds of all types of our suture process machines.
PharmSouth (which is over 95% export) now concentrates on the design build and installation of suture process manufacturing machinery for over 50 Medical device companies, which is probably the majority of those operating. They are located in many countries of the world such as the USA, Turkey, Switzerland, South Africa, Serbia, Russia, Pakistan, Mexico, Italy, Ireland, Iraq, India, China, Belarus, Bangladesh, Algeria, etc.
NEW START-UP FACTORIES - In the last few years following global conflicts and instability we have had many enquiries for new start up factories to manufacture sutures and medical devices.
We have already installed several complete factories, also working with other manufacturers who manufacture such as ethylene oxide sterilisers, vacuum dryers, and large packing machines.
INNOVATION - We produce a wide range of machinery for both manufacture, inspection and testing, some of which we have sold several thousand units.
FUTURE – We are now planning to review new global markets and extend our scope into Pharma and Medical devices and other industries.
